InDesign constantly crashing at launch

Community Beginner ,

Hello everyone

I'm using a 2020 27-inch iMac with Mac OS Ventura 13.0.

For some unkown reason now every single time I launch InDesign 2023 it crashes before it even loads, within a second of double clicking. If I uninstall and reinstall it opens fine but then when I shut down my machine at the end of the day it happens all over again the next day.

I have removed all preferences and cleared the caches - still no joy.

I've checked all fonts for clashes - still no joy.

All other Adobe Suite pieces of software are OK - just happening on InDesign.

Anyone else had this issue?

Any guidance and help gretly recieved as its a bit tedious doing the uninstall/ reinstall bit.

Thanks in advance

Lisa

How much RAM and spare hard disk capacity do you have?

I had this issue this week, but after trying everything Adobe suggested (over 2 days), it wasn't until I updated my graphics card software that suddenly -- it works! Might be worth a try. This issue never affected any other Adobe program I use. Weird.

Yeah, I thought that might be the issue, but the OP says he's an expert and had checked the components.
