indesign crash when drag page to new icon to duplicate

hi, 
i am getting a crash when trying to duplicate a page via this method:
i drag a page eg pg2 from the 'pages' box to the 'create new page' icon bottom right next to trash icon
no problems doing this with 2024 version (or any previous version)
using Indesign 2025 on Sonoma 14.4.1

happens with old files and new files - not every time but pretty regularly
please advise what to do
getting very frustrated

Does in happen with every file?

If not, save as IDML, open that and save as new INDD in the same folder as the old INDD.

it happens with any file i have open - but seems to be random

updating now - hopefully that fixes the glitch

What if you do it through the context menu - and select Duplicate option?
