Damn I've got a report I need to do. SO I have an urgency ti fix this problem.

Right so I am running on Windows 11.
I tried renaming the prefs to .old i tried renaming the CEP extensions to .old

all as per this Troubleshooting Link .

So I went to the advanced troubleshooting link on that page here.

I enabled the hidden admin account and yes it will start from that account. The instructions say to change permissions. Weel there was no problem with the permissions but I clicked deny  and unclicked them so at least I could apply them as not denied. This did not work.

FYI when ID starts up it crashes with the "loading shortcuts" message appearing on the splash screen.

I'm desperately hoping someone can help, Please Adobe. I need to finish this report an email it ASAP.

Hi @Volition74au,

We are sorry to hear you are unable to launch InDesign. Would you mind telling us the version of InDesign installed on your windows machine? Have you tried uninstalling InDesign and reinstalling using the cleaner tool: Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool to solve installation problems.?

Please also check if there are any pending operating system updates.

Let us know if that helps. We will try our best to help.

Thanks,

Harshika
