Indesign crashes regularly after PDFing two 1,000 page files

I have about 100 1,000-page files that I need to export as PDF. Each one takes about 10 minutes so I wrote a script that exports them continuously, but after two, indesign crashes.

This is frustrating because if I export them manually, and quit between each one, the export goes fine, but I'd like to not spend many hours in front of my computer for no good reason.

Is there something I can do to keep inDesign from crashing? It seems like a memory leak.

(I have also tried using 1000, 100-page files instead, and it crashes after exporting 25 of them, which is about the same place it was crashing before)

hm! seems to work in indesign 19. well nevermind : )
