Indesign has been crashing for the last few days

Has anyone elses indesign started to crash the last few days?

and when i re-open it i cant click on file, preferences etc to recover documents.

Hi jeffery, Latest version of indesign, and latest update on a new Mac.

We generally advise resetting prefs as the first step when something like this happens: Reset InDesign Preferences and Other Troubleshooting
