InDesign Interactive Form Fields — Add a prompt "Default Value"

New Here ,

I have created a lot of fillable forms in InDesign and Acrobat but I need to be able to add a prompt value so the end user knows what info to put in that field (the field is in the body of a paragraph, not a NAME:, ADDRESS: kind of field). I have found online disucssions about adding scripts to the fields in Acrobat; is there an easier way to do it from InDesign?

Not from the way you're describing it, no.

And keep in mind anything you do in Acrobat will likely only work in Acrobat. Unless you can control everything about this form and how it will be filled out, you're far better off with a proper form on a website or even a Google form.
