Is it possible to make an Interactive PDF with a video that can be played when the PDF is exported? It doesn't work for me, when i follow Adobe's guide

Embedding videos into a PDF for distribution no longer works now that Flash has been dropped. The workaround is to include a hyperlink to an external website – such as YouTube – that hosts the video (or, alternatively, use HTML5 with something like InDesign's Publish Online or in5).

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.

There are far too many 3rd party readers to make this a viable idea. My advice is to not even try.
