InDesign library assets reverting when opened on a different computer

New Here ,

I created a library for a group and then collaborated with them. One person will open the library and a document and places those assets on the page, making a few changes to update the asset (say it's for a headline and they change what the headline says). Then someone else on a different computer will open that document and the asset will revert to the original text. This doesn't seem to happen for every asset, only some of them. Thoughts?

Thanks!

Hi Jennifer,

are you working with CC Library libraries?

Or do you work with InDesign library files ( *.indl ) that are shared on e.g. a cloud volume or a mutual network volume?

Jennifer: Did you ever resolved this problem? Or figure out how to do it? My students are having the exact same issue today.
