I have created Indd files including assets from a CC library. This works fine for me, but when my colleague tries to make a PDF of these files all the library assets show as missing links. Even the files that are not actually links, such as text boxes. I have shared the library with my colleague.
Does anyone know how to sort this without stopping usin libraries?
Thanks

Are you using package to create your pdf? If there are any potential problems you will see them. The links are put into a nice folder. You can choose your pdf settings too.

Thanks for the responce. We don't package the final PDFs as we all work of the same dropbox folder so it would duplicate the links and take up uneccesary space. Should the links show as missing on my colleagues machine if she has access to my library and all the relevant folders?

Hi Jennifer,
Sorry to hear about your experience. Please try turning off the SmartSync feature of DropBox and see if it helps with missing links. You may follow the steps suggested in this community post to do that. I hope it helps.
Regards,
Ashutosh

I assume that the links are targetted to a local path. Even if you work together on the same dp folder, I recommend to make a package as often the path works only independently of the local settings. Even it is targeted to the dp it can often happen that from another computer the path is not recogniuzed.
Personally I avoid to use any CC Library element with a link to another file. It happens to fail often here when I work alone in the dp.
