I have a 300+ page book I created in InDesign. I have the page size set to 8.5 x 11. When I export to PDF, the page size of the PDF becomes 8.27 x 11.69. I had bleeds and removed the bleeds and got the same PDF page size. I updated the page layout in InDesign to 8 x 10 and when I export to PDF, I still get 8.27 x 11.69. I cannot upload this PDF to KDP (Kindle Desktop Publishing) and they told me I need the PDF size to be exactly 8.63 x 11.25. I called Adobe Tech Support twice and neither employee could solve this problem. We even created a brand new InDesign document and moved all the pages and set up new document sizes and I still have the same issue. Help!!!

Hard to guide without any visuals
if you can supply some screenshots or files we can better direct you

So why isn't your page size 8.63 x 11.25???
Check the Page Tool and click on the page - what size is it?
If you resized the page outside of the Document setup or anything like that?
For example - if you use the page tool to make the Page 8x11 in size
the document setup will still say 8.63x11
No matter what you do in the Document Setup - it will stay 8x11
Until you equalise the Document setup with the Page size
Once they match
Then change the Document Setup and it will change then
Inserting 8.63 in the document setup now changes it in the dialog for the Page size too

How big is your bleed?
Did you add register marks?
