Indesign Product

New Here ,

Hello, I need to know if there is an Adobe product that allows the design of a Word document exported from a tool in which users make constant changes. We are currently working with InDesign but every time a document is sent to us we have to design it from scratch. Can you tell me if there is any product that performs this management automatically, refreshing only the changes.
Thank you.

Maybe this will help you:

Or how about using InCopy?

Thank you for your response. We have been told that with Adobe Experience Manager it is not necessary to have the Wordsflow add-in.
Could you tell me how to use InCopy?, is it inside Indesign?

InCopy is a standalone application - stripped down InDesign.

Can you provide more info how AEM is synchronising InDesign with WORD?

1. about InCopy: ok. is it possible to get more information about how it works? can it be integrated with MSWord?
2. about AEM: I don't know how it works, that's why I opened the topic; my question is if it allows to integrate MSWord documents in Adobe InDesign?

InCopy - you don't need WORD - it replaces WORD entirely.

AEM - I have no idea how it works. You can always import and even link WORD file - but as you've experienced - you'll have to start from scratch when WORD file is updated.

Then you can export RTF from the Story - but it won't be "perfect".

What does AEM have to do with any of this?

If you're linking Word files in InDesign, Wordsflow is the way to go. If you just need to give external editors/writers access to content without the ability to mess up the layout, then InCopy is the way to go.

Unless you back up and start giving us detailed information on this workflow, nobody is going to be able to give you more information than that.

Thank you for your reply.
The information I have provided above is the only one I have, the users work in a collaborative environment and do business in Word and Excel, exporting the documents; and they are sent to the layout designers for layout.

We were told about AEM, that's why I was asking. I don't know this product and I would like to know if it works for our needs.

Unfortunately, nobody here will be able to help without real details. I suggest gathering those users and finding out exactly what they're doing. With that information, we can offer assistance.

What kind of "tool" are you talking about?
