InDesign - Review Comments Disappeared

I paid a proofreader to proofread my book. While he was working and was updating the changes in the local file (without creating an update of the online file)

Suddenly more than 200 comments disappeared.

I didn't update the file online. I was just sorting out the comments I was updating.

How do I get comments back? Help please

How were the comments indicated, did your proofreader have access to your InDesign document or did they have a PDF?

the difference is that I haven't updated the online version of the file.

I lost all "solved" and all unresolved comments
