InDesign Review Link: 'Update Content' Button Missing

I created a link for review in indesign, update it a couple of time, but today the "update content' button has disappeared. Indesign only offers me to create a new link. 
I did not change the file, or rename it, or copy it. (It still the same if I check the properties). The original review link is still available but i can't update it. And with all the people involve in the process, it would be a massive problem to create a new one. 
Can i Relink my indesign file to the original review link ?

Hello. Thanks for your answer.

I am on indesign 19.3.  This problem appears only on this file. I can update everything else. So it's not a software problem.
Clearing cache did not change anything. I'll DM you for the file

Thank you for providing the file and your patience as we work through this issue together. I tested it and was able to see the 'Update Content' button, and I successfully updated the file without any problems.

 

Since you're currently using InDesign version 19.3, I recommend updating to the latest version, 19.5. This update may contain fixes that could resolve the issue you're facing.

 

If the problem persists even after the update, could you please record a screen capture of the workflow demonstrating the issue? This will help us understand the situation better and assist you more effectively.
