Indesign slow down with missing links/fonts/conversion

While using the latest indesign. I've noticed if I open up a .ind file from a previous version it slows down to a crawl. Not sure if its due to missing links/missing fonts/converted but it makes indesign unusable.

 

I'm happy to send a few indesign files to an admin.

 

I'm using windows.

Hi PixelTonic,

you could try to export the document from that previous version to IDML.

Just a test to see if something changes speed wise.
