Indesign split column, is tapering off my text.

Im tying to create a 2 column text box, but it does this weird tapering thing with the text, I have no idea what it could be or how to fi it 😞 please help 😞

Without seeing the file, I'd say it's either text wrap or a custom text shape. Check the master/parent page for the object the text is wrapping around.
