I am new to Indesign.

I have been working on a document, but am no longer able to select text.

I am not on the parent page. There is no layer lock.

Type Tool is selected.

Any ideas? It could be basic.

Go to the Layer Panel.

Show all items from the spread.

On both pages you se <text frame>.

These text frames are empty and cover the text frame you want to edit.

Delete them and then you can edit the text.

You have two frames on that page including one on top of your text.

Is the frame itself locked? If you post the document in Dropbox or some other cloud storage and provide a link we'd be able to help without guessing.

Nothing is locked. I have been trying to work out any changes made. I have created a table of contents, but even deleting that has not helped.

I have attached the document. I am just trying to change text on page 5

Another thing: Are you sure, that you want the image on page 4 in RGB and not as greyscale?
