InDesign. Turn off image hiding in image frame - how do I do it?

It has happened too many times that a portion of an image or logo is hidden in InDesign because I didn't notice that the frame color was not right when I selected my image. When under pressure to meet a deadline this mistake occurs far too frequentlyl. I have zero need for this feature. Is there a way to turn it off. I feel like a victim in a cruel game of chicken!

I think I need a better explanation, preferably with a screen capture. I don't understand what feature you have "zero need for," and what's going wrong for you.

It's also helpful if you'd let us know (1) Please tell us what operating system (exactly) you're running. (2) Please tell us (exactly) what InDesign version you're using.

Sorry. No idea what the feature is called. Windows 10 Pro, Build 19042.1586, InDesign 2022 17.0.1. If I click too far in from from the edge/into the center of the image when repositioning this is what happens:

Do you use Object Styles? You should do so. Always!
