InDesign unable to set paragraph styles

I can no longer set paragraph styles in InDesign. Every time I try, I get the little PC *can't perform action* sound and I can't do press anything til I press the Esc key. This just started happeing on my PC when I updated to the new 17.1 version. Is this a new bug?

Ha this is my bad. Didn't realize Paragraph styles showed up on my second monitor, which was off. All good now
