Indesign update now my indd files are showing up as pdfs on Windows

I just updated my Indesign. Now all the indd files are showing up as pdf files on my PC. How do I get them to show up as indd files again?

Did the extension change or does your machine just want to open them up in Acrobat? If it is the later, you should be able to right click on one of the files and change which program that file type is associated with.

First things first, make sure you enable extensions for known file types. Then change the association for INDD files back to InDesign.
