Every time I update InDesign it resets my workspace to the default.

Why, and is there a way to stop that from happening?

If you've learned to save your workspace, and you can reapply it in one step, I wouldn't call a problem.

Please tell us what operating system (exactly) you're running. Which update are you applying (exactly)?

Sure. MacOS Ventura 13.6.3, but also other versions of it going back about 5 years. InDesign, every version of it going back about 5 years, but the most recent one is 19.1 today.

It goes back to the default workspace every single time I update it. Then I have to go up to the Window menu and select my workspace again. Fortunately, I've learned to save my workspace. The first couple times it happened years ago I didn't do that.

No, but it's incredibly annoying and I wish Adobe would fix it. None of there other apps do this.
