1. I created a review link from my indesign file
2. Editors made comments on the review file
3. Opening the same file in Indesign now says I do not have a review file.
____
Question:
How do I link an existing review file to an existing Indesign file?
Question:
Why did this file get broken in the first place?

Hi there,
Sorry about the trouble. I would request you to please visit this website (https://assets.adobe.com/links) and log in with both Personal & company accounts to check under which account the review documents are stored. To learn more about how to switch between personal & company accounts, you may visit this help article (https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/using/manage-adobe-profiles.html#:~:text=Can%20I%20select%20a%20p... ). If you locate your review document under the business or personal account, you have to log in with that account in InDesign to see the review file. Let us know how it goes.
We will be looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks & Regards,
Anshul Saini

Thanks for the reply @Anshul_Saini but this is not the issue. It is a software problem I believe with this feature.

Hi jinch,
did you save your document with Save As to the same file name?
( Never do that while working with Share For Review. )
That's the main cause for an issue like that.

There is a good chance this is what happened but I am not sure. Adobe didnt do a very good job at explaining this feature or the pitfalls involved. Reading up at some of the posts here it seems to be fairly buggy - Not sure this is ready for prime time.
