I have been using Indesign for a few years and this week the app has been refusing to show on my main dashboard unless my wacom tablet is plugged in.
I have desinstalled and re installed the app. Nothing has changed.
BTW, what happens if you unchecked the "Use Windows Ink" option under the mapping tab in the Wacom driver control panel?
Try resetting your preferences:
The easiest way to reset everything is to delete the InDesign preferences: as soon as InDesign starts to boot hold down Shift, Alt, Ctrl (and Apple/Cmd if working on a Macintosh). A dialog will appear asking to delete the InDesign Preferences, select 'Yes' on this dialog.
