I downloaded InDesign for free through my Univeristy so it should have allowed me to use it straight away. However, it said I had a seven day free trial and now it wont let me use the app as it is telling me I need to buy it. Does anyone know how I can solve this issue?
You have to contact your university under which condition you get it for free. It is not a free application, but some schools and university have licences for their members due to an individual contract.
If your university has some sort of broad license agreement with Adobe, you will have to contact the dept. at the university that is in charge. Usually this is done by a dept. by dept. approach--not just for anyone who wants it.
Otherwise, you can subscribe to the discounted student/teacher price.
