I need to make an index for a book, I used to do them manually but it's hell and InDesign has a tool for it. I went through the Adobe manual for it and they point out several times that if I put it "cat", it will treat occurances of cats, Cat or Cats as separate. Is it possible to add more forms under one reference so that what I will have in the index will be "cat" but it will list page numbers for "Cat", "Cats" and "cats"? I need to make it for a book in a language that uses flection so every word appears in many forms.

Hi,

I got into this situation in a book. Unfortunately, InDesign does treat them differently. There is no other way as of now. But, Microsoft Word does treat them differently.

Thanks and Regards
