I would like to reqest an enhancment to the index.
Proper names in an index should be Last name, First Name. A shortcut <Shift> <CTL> <ALT> ] will add Mary Smith to the index as Smith, Mary BUT only for the current page, and once in the index there is no easy way to bring up the Indesign New Reference window where the range can be set and where the add all button exists, both of which are necessary if the proper name is in many places in the doucment.
Since the code to swap the last name first name already exists in the shortcut feature, it should not be difficult to add a check box or other icon next to the Topic field in the New Reference window that would toggle the Last name, First name in the field before the reference is saved.
