first of all you have to choose language in CC

... and then install your app

Additional:

You Need not to uninstall the wrong language.

But InDesign chooses the language, if avaIlable and installed, according to the choosen language from the OS, that means you might have to Change the language on OS Level.

Hi Silvia,

Thanks for reaching out. Willi is right, you might have to change the language on OS level. Could you please share a few more details like:

  • Operating system and version of InDesign.
  • In which language you are trying to install InDesign?
  • What is the language of your operating system?

Looking forward to your response!

Regards,

Srishti

I have the same need. I'm trying to teach InDesign to a user who has their computer setup in Italian — their native language. Can I temporarily change my language within InDesign? do I really have to change my whole computer to another language? Seems extreme… isn't there just a way to tell InDesign that it needs to use a different setting other than the default system?

yes, you'll need to rename certain files accordingly:
