I'm working on an interactive document where we have the following:
Multiple questions, with 3 checkboxes.
Checkbox 1 has a value of 0, the second 1, the third 2.
Only one of these three can be checked per question.
At the bottom, I would like all the checked values counted.
Example; 2 questions with options 0 to 2. Question 1 is checked 2, question 2 is checked 1. Total is 3, and shown somewhere else.
Can anyone help me with this? I hope I explained it correctly.
This cannot be done with InDesign. You can check in the Acrobat forum to see if anyone has some magic for you.
Aw, that's to bad.I really hoped that would be possible. I'll give the Acrobat forum a go 🙂 Thank you!
As Bob says, it can't be done natively in InDesign.
It can be done with my add-on, FormMaker (https://www.id-extras.com/products/formmaker/)
There's a free version for short, 1-page forms.
Thank you! That looks promising.Do you maybe have a tutorial somewhere how to this on the checkboxes?
