Invitation using data merge, second page moved and shifted

Hello,

I designed an invitation with InDesign, using data merge to adapt the test to different invited people.

When I merge the date (excel as txt-file) the first page is fine, but from the second page all boxes with pictures and text are moved wildly.

Check you margins on your master pages

Also : your master pages are now facing pages. Single page would be better.

This was a little tricky: you have “Adjust Layout” activated in the “Margins and Columns” Options. If you deactivate it everything should work fine. As RvdT pointed out it is good practice to have your margins set up the same way as on your workig pages.
