Hi All,
I have searched around and I am having a difficult time pinpointing an answer. Perhaps I am trying an anti-pattern and that is why. 🙂 (Coding terminology)
I am wondering if there is a way to have a single parent that is applied to all the documents in a book - or if there is a different approach to solve the problem below.
The problem is as follows... Let's say I have 10 documents in a book, each with the same header/footer on a parent page that is part of each document. I need to make an adjustment in the header or footer across all of the documents. As it stands now, I need to go to each document's parent page and make the same adjustments in the header/footer - hoping that with precision, the header/footer of all 10 documents is completely identical.
More broadly, is there a way to have a single template/layout for a header/footer that is linked/applied to all documents in a book instead of manually editing each header/footer for each document?
Thanks!!
