Issue with rectangle tool

Hi all,

My rectangle tool is acting odd. As you can see in the picture, whenever I make a rectangle it is not completely filling the space and putting these odd stroke/lines on the end. Any ideas?

Figured it out. My corner options were set to inset for some reason!
