Issues with Google fonts Source Sans Pro and Zilla Slab

New Here ,
Oct 11, 2019 Oct 11, 2019

We're having issues using the Google fonts Source Sans Pro and Zilla Slab with InDesign CS5.5.

An advertising agency is providing us with a document using the above fonts. If we try to edit text boxes InDesign crashes.

When the agency provides the same document with the Arial font everything's fine, you can edit the text normally.

Maybe there is an issue with the different operating systems? The agency is using MacOs 10.13.6 and we're using Windows 7. Both systems have the required fonts installed.

Any help would be appreciated.

Please check what is font type? if possible use OTF fonts so that will support in both mac and Windows.

At first there was True Type installed. After I uninstalled the True Type Fonts and used the OTF version, InDesign freezes while trying to load the document.
