It would be great if there was a panel to manually add frequently visited directories.

It would be nice to have a panel, which can be opened with a shortcut, where I can manually add some frequently accessed directories.

For example, I would like to have quick access to my local libraries when I need them. I don't want to keep the library file open at all times, which I think affects the speed of the software, especially since I don't use the CC cloud library.
For example, I would like to have quick access to where the Grep, shortcuts are stored.

I really wish Adobe had a faceplate for this.

I'm sure there are plenty of generic system utilities that can do what you need. I'm on Mac so I can't recommend any as you're on Windows but, again, I'm sure there are plenty of them available in various forms.

I have used this here and sometimes I think it's not as good as "everything"

"Everything" is different software for indexing (and its Awesome with AHK scripts) but listary will give you some new options in save dialog window and another places. Automaticaly "clone" explorer or TTCMD active window into save dialog is reason why i have Listary.

@dublove

You can make a folder, pin it to your Taskbar and then add shortcuts to files / folders there.

Why not?

You won't be restricted for it to be available only when working in InDesign - you can place there links to any program / file / folder.

And you won't have to install 3rd party software.
