Hi all! I have a number of parent pages set up with various headers and footers on the pages. Suddenly all the headers from the parent pages are not showing in the parent pages but are editable items on the document pages. I am not sure how to resolve this, short of moving the headers back to the parent pages. This has occurred in numerous files that are 100-200 pages each with several master pages in each document. So it would be time consuming to manually move them back. Wondering if anyone has seen this occur and how to correct it and what might have caused this to happen. The footers on the parent pages are still on the parent pages and are uneditable on the document pages (as they should be). Any help with this is appreciated.

Hi @Krystyna Sarro That sounds wonky for sure. Is it possible that somehow there was an override on all the parent page items? If so, those will have to be deleted by hand (or there may be a script someone has to help you automate this). If you create a new parent with the headers and footers and apply it to a page, that alone won't remove the editable header text boxes. If you look at the layer, the text boxes will still be there. AFAIK, reapplying a parent won't remove any of the text boxes that were previously overridden. But hopefully someone will come along with some more suggestions.
