Hi community,
When implementing a review in InDesign, as soon as I make the change the marker/comment and indication where it was disappears entirely from the document.
My reviewer would like to keep track of those reviews though, and be able to check them up again.
Is there a way to make the change, but keep the comment with the spread-location in document active?
If so, how?
If not, is there a workaraund, like to save a copy including the reviews?
Very thankful for your help.
Caro

The best workaround I know is to use version control to set your comments, preferably in Adobe Acrobat.
Each version is available to both parties, with expected comments/marks/revisions. There is file redundancy, but there is no question of what is expected, when it was done, and where the current working version of the document is.
Anything short of that is a workaround that can, and likely will at some point, result in misinterpretation. And possibile recrimination.
Hope this helps,
Randy

Thank you very much for taking the time to respond Randy, this is what I ended up doing.
I hope in some future releases there will be options/intermediary steps in the review function @adobe 😉
