Hi everyone,

We are having a problem in windows with indesign CC2019 with links in a document where one computer reads another through a network. Tyically any changes to the document made on computer 2 save to computer 1 and any changes made on computer 1 are then visible on computer 2. The problem is links for images on one computer are linked but when viewed on the other computer they are unlinked eventough all the linked files are in the same folder. If you relink the images on computer 1 then save and close the document they are unlinked when opened on computer 2 and vice versa. However, if you make any changes to text or images themselves in the document they are updated from one computer to the other like usual so it doesn't seem like a network problem. We have many ducuments with this same format and have never seen this issue with links.  Any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

What does "unlinked" mean? Are they missing? modified?

FWIW, I don't think that is a very reliable way to work. Why don't use a network drive or a cloud folder?
