Linked images shift automatically in Indesign

Dear all,

I have some linked images in my file (facing pages as it is a book design) which have moved automatically (to the right on the right page and left to left) when I reopen the file. I applied text wrapping, so this naturally also shifts the text. Has anyone had this problem before? Could this be a bug or am I overlooking something?

Thank you in advance.

Hi Rishabh,

Thank you for your reply. I checked it in my file, but the feature 'Content Aware Fit' in Preferences was already enabled.

This will have been the case all along, as I haven't used this feature before.

So the cause should be something else. If you have any other suggestions, I'd love to hear them.

Kind regards

Ann

Thanks for confirming @Ann22437878no3e Did you try turning it off and then making the changes?
