Links to Index gone after Alternate Layout

After creating an alternate layout of my document the Index on that "new" layout wont work, I mean the links from the Index don´t work. How can I fix that?

Hi Agnes,

do the index marker special characters appear in the texts of the alternate layout?
Best check that with invisible characters showing in the Story Editor window.

What exactly does not work?

Going to an index marker of an indexed word in the Index panel?

What's your exact version of InDesign and operating system?
