I am creating a form in Indesign and a function needs to be that once a check box and textbox has been filled out and checked it cannot be changed or undone after saving. Reason being is that multiple people will be working on the same document and they shouldnt be able to make changes to the previous work done.

Hi @Mariza25752288o2y7 ,

I'd ask this in one of the Acrobat forums, if and how this can be done.

InDesign has no feature for this. You'd need perhaps Acrobat's JavaScript to achieve this.

Well, and Acrobat's JavaScript will only reliably run on desktop Adobe Reader for Windows and macOS…

With a user who personally enables the function.

The easiest option would be to put a digital signature field for each person that will lock the appropriate fields. You can hide the other signature fields so they can't get signed out of order; clicking on the visible signature field can be set to show the next sig. field in line.
