Locking all content on multiple pages

Is there a method to locking more than one page at a time?  Working on a book with a number of photos per page  and, after a number of pages I lock them.  Then, when I have to go back to amend an image or text i will unlock the pages (generally around 10-12) that are affected, make the changes and then lock them again.

It would be so much easier if in pages view or as a reduced normal view I could select all the pages and lock them with one stroke of then, as it were.

I haven't been able to find a way of doing that and wonder if any you bright sparks know the answer.

Cheers

Ian

No, not within the InDesign feature set, but you could put the images on their own layer, and then lock and unlock the layer. This will impact all of the elements on the layer however, and not selected pages.
