Hi everybody,
I want to recreate the image below in InDesign.
But i cant figure out how.
With the circle tool, i dont know how to take out a small gap as shown above, nor how to add arrowheads.
With the stroke/pen tool, i cant draw a perfect circle in freehand mode, so then ill get a wobbly, wonky circle, wich does not look professional.
I tried a few things with the different modes of the pen tool on an existing circle, but i could not figure it out nor get anyting good looking.
Is it even possible within InDesign? I dont know, but i hope you guys know!
Thanks!
- Nick
Create extra Rectangle ON TOP - select it as a FIRST object, then oval as a second:
Next step:
You'll get this - use DIRECT SELECTION Tool to select those two points:
and delete them:
As it's now an "open path" - you can change one of the ends:
Add extra TextFrame with your text - group it with oval.

Wow, thanks Robert, it works like a charm!
It really did everything i wanted too!
A lot of questions are quickly dismissed on the InDesign forums as only possible withi Illustrator, but people like you show that a lot can be achieved within InDesign if you take the longer route!
Many thanks,
-Nick
