Can anyone tell me if these margins are too much to use for a cookbook?

I'm sorry, but we're not mind readers and if eve we were, it's impossible for us to tell you what margins to use any more than what fonts to use. There are many places to ask design based questions on the internet. You should probably ask there after you consult with the printer.
