Media files and SharePoint

Moving media files to SharePoint. Any gotchas, advice or things to be aware in placing media files from SharePoint into InDesign?

As far as I know, you can upload files to Sharepoint libraries. Then sync to OneDrive. 

Then work from the OneDrive on your computer. 

In theory - when sharepoint is linked - upload to SharePoint - it becomes available to OneDrive. Then you access the files locally on your computer.
