Does anyone know why my Dell laptop mouse pad wont work to scoll up/down in InDesign/ It works in all other programmes but not InDesign. Very frustrating having to use right hand side slider back to scroll up/down. Thanks

Have you experimented with resetting InDesign preferences? Here is some guidance:

Are you using InDesign 2024? It appears that many users experience similar issues on Windows. The only solution I have seen is either to use a different mouse or revert to InDesign 2023.

Yes I am. I usually use my laptop with screens and a separate mouse but when I am on the move and just using my laptop I really need the full use of the mouse pad. It is infuriating now being able to scroll up/down with the mouse pad! OK I can use Fn/PgUpPgDn and the right slider but its not how I want to scroll! Thanks for replying.
