Greetings:

I want to copy and paste an InDesign template and its associated files from my Mac to my PC. How do I this? Do I need to start from scratch on the PC?

INDDs are identical on Mac and PC.  Take care that you use compatible fonts as Mac fonts (DFONTS) are not working on windows. Best is to use OTF Fonts.

Avoid / or \ in file or folder or path names. They will not allow to open the file on win.

My recomandation: Package the file and move that to win.
