Hi Barb. Here's a simple one for you. I have the acknowledgement at the beginning of a book and want to move it to the end of the book. I highlight the 3 pages of acknowledgements (cut them), create 3 pages at the back, then paste them, but only the first page copies into the back. What am I missing?

It's best to stick with one topic in a post—each unrelated question should be added to a new post. I moved your last question to a new thread.
You might find it easier to drag and drop those three pages in the Pages panel. Just select the page thumbnails and move them to the new position.
Otherwise, you can go ahead and cut the content, navigate to the end of the Pages panel, click the + button at the bottom to add 3 new pages and then paste your content. If the story does not immediately flow to the two additional pages, click the red plus button in the bottom right corner of the text frame on the first new page to reload the text, and then go ahead and place it onto the next two pages.

Here I am trying to copy 1 page of material from the front of the book to the end of the book. I create a new page at the end of the book, and then I get this icon what I go to the new page with the cursor (I don't see a red plus button in the bottm right corner):
