Multiple references to same footnote

Hello, Does Indesign handle multiple references to the same footnote yet? Need it for large documents.

I'm going to go with a no, lawork. I can do this with a cross-reference in FrameMaker, but just tried it in InDesign and InDesign doesn't pick up the footnote number. I found old thread asking for this feature from 2009—but it hasn't been added yet.

Well! … Not truly convinced!

I've just taken a couple of min. to test an invisible auto-numbering of a footnote based on its basic numbering and create a cross-ref. to this number.

Simplistic to play!

If the numbering changes, I could be easy to update.
