I'm working on a 60 page doc and while changing some images from previous pages my doc closed and now every time i try to open it when I try to even scroll th doc closes automatically.

Is my doc corrupted? Can I recover what I did?

Look under the heading of salvage the document. The first effort is to export to IDML and reopen the IDML to save as a INDD. It might work.

If you can open your file - then try

If a document is not behaving well then try

File>Export

Choose IDML

Open the IDML in InDesign
Save the file as a new InDesign file with a new name
See if the issue persists.
