My Indesign 2022 keeps on not responding

I'm currently using a Macbook Pro mid 2015 with OS Monterey. My Adobe Indesign 2022 would always not respond in the middle of doing my work. I can use it just fine moments after I uninstall and reinstall it, but the day after, it would always not respond midway. It's also extremely slow. Does anyone know how to deal with this? Should I just downgrade to the previous Indesign?

How much RAM and spare disk capacity do you have.

It might be worth resetting the InDesign preferences.

If you still have issues, it's probably worth downgrading to 2021 in the meantime for a quiet life!

I have 16 GB ram and 150GB free in my disk. I have already tried resetting my preferences, but it still doesn't work properly. Guess I'll just downgrade to 2021 for the time being. Thank you for the reply!
