I got it. It was a problem with an old licence. i had to deinstall all apps and also the desktop-cloud. after reinstalling all apps with the "new" licence it works.

How much RAM and spare hard disk capacity do you have?

Have you tried resetting the InDesign preferences?

I got 16 Gb RAM and about 300 GB free ssd space (iMac 2019). All Adobe CC Apps (Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator...) didn't start anymore. It must be the MacOS update. Both devices also the MacBook has enough RAM and disk space.

Try resetting the InDesign preferences:

1) Close InDesign
2) Double click on Adobe InDesign's icon to launch it
3) QUICKLY hold down Ctrl+Alt+Shift. (for Windows) or CTL+OPT+CMD+Shift (for Mac OS X)
4) When a dialogue appears, asking you “Delete InDesign Preference Files?” Click Yes.

If you don't see the question do it again.

Doesn't work. InDesign starts, cleaning preferences and then it crashs.

Try using the Adobe Cleaner Tool to remove the application and reinstall InDesign again.
