Hey everyone!
Is anyone having issues that, after plugging in the specifics of your new file within InDesign, the program switches back to the default settings? Everytime I input my information for what I'm looking to produce InDesign will revert back to the default settings of the letter format so I have to either be incredibly quick or customize the file layout from within the document once it's created. Anyone else having this issue? And, if so, any fixes to it?

Thanks for bringing this up! That does sound frustrating, especially when you're trying to quickly get started on a project. It shouldn't be reverting to the default letter settings after you've customized the new file.
Could you let me know which version of InDesign and operating system you're using? Also, does this happen every single time you try to create a new document, or only occasionally? A short screen recording of the issue, if possible, would be really helpful in understanding what’s going on.
In the meantime, please try the following steps and see if they help:
First, rename the CEP folder to CEP.old from the following location:
• On macOS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe
• On Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
If that doesn't resolve it, try renaming the UXP folder to UXP.old from these locations:
• On macOS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe and ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe
• On Windows: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\
Let me know how it goes. I'll be happy to follow up further with the team if needed.
Abhishek
